Gallup’s Business Improvement District (BID) was created according to the New Mexico Business Improvement District Act, to promote and restore economic vitality to the city’s downtown business area.
Gallup BID has the ability to respond to capital proposals, event sponsorship requests, maintenance projects, marketing concepts, and other initiatives in a timely manner. Gallup BID projects include: funding for city beautification, creating Gallup MainStreet Arts & Cultural District, summer walking tours and a hotel advertising campaign.
BID fosters entrepreneurship and business expansion in various ways including assisting with applications for financing, signage grants, and improvement reimbursements.
